New 8x DVD +/- R/RW drive from IO Data


The DVR-ABP8 is an ATAPI DVD recorder supports of 8x DVD +/- R recording, 4x DVD +/- RW writing and 24x CD-R/RW recording. 2x DVD-RAM (no cartridge type) reading is also supported.

The reading speeds for DVD-ROM and CD-ROM are 12x and 40x respectively. 145.9x193x41.3mm (width x depth x height) is the size of the drive and weights 1.1kg.

The package includes B’s studio burning software series, edit and DVD authoring, packet writing and photograph album software.

Availability on the Japanese market on March. The price is 21,000 yen and it is compatible with Windows Me/2000/XP.
