New Digital Video Converter from Plextor


ConvertX PX-M402U is the name of Plextor’s first digital video converter. This brand-new device certainly has a lot to offer. The ConvertX PX-M402U swallows analogue information and converts it to MPEG-1 and 2, as well as to MPEG-4 and DivX®!

With the ConvertX PX-M402U, you can convert over 2 hours of picture material in real-time, and store it on a CD, and up to ten hours on a DVD. The ConvertX PX-M402U makes use of a USB 2.0 port for the data transfer, and is equipped with a stereo audio input, an S-video and a composite video input. The ConvertX PX-M402U is also supplied as a total package, including the DVD software WinDVD Player and WinDVD Creator by Intervideo.
