The new DVD Dual writer DR3080A supports 24x HD-burn for double recording the capacity of CD-R media. It also includes 2MB internal buffer to prevent buffer under run. The DVD writing speeds are : 8X Max. DVD+R Write, 4X Max. DVD-R Write, 4x Max. DVD+RW Rewrite,2X Max. DVD-RW Rewrite, and 12X Max. DVD-ROM Reading.

The CD writing speeds are : 40X Max. CD-R Write, 24X Max. CD-RW Rewrite and 40X Max. CD-ROM Reading.

It is compatible with 99 (870MB) and 90min (800MB) CD-R discs as well as with CD-R, CD-RW, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R and DVD+RW media.
