TDK announces 8x DVD-R for Data and Video


TDK Japan announced new series of 8x DVD-R media. The DVD-R47K for data (4.7GB) will be available in the market in March, and DVD-R120K (120 min standard) is expected to the market in a few days.

Both disc models conforms to the General Ver.2.0/8× DVD-R Revision 3.0 standards. Single disc packages will cost approximately 4.7 EUR, while the 5-packs and 10-packs will be available for 2,100 Yen (16 EUR) and 4,000 Yen (30 EUR), respectively.
