Teac announces new portable combo recorder

Teac announced the new DW-2245PU2, a USB2.0 CD-RW/DVD-ROM recorder. The drive supports 24× CD-R/-RW write, and 24× CD-ROM and 8× DVD-ROM read.

Availability is expected in Februry in the Japanese market first. The retail package will include B's Recorder Gold CD recording software, B's Clip5 for packet writing and PowerDVD v5 DVD player.
