DVD-RAM to reach 16x by 2005


In a DVD-RAM booth in CES, Las Vegas, new 5x DVD-RAM media were demonstrated by Maxell and Matsushita Electric Industrial.

The 5x DVD-RAM writing specifications will be decided early 2004, while the DVD-RAM recording speed is expected reach the maximum 16x one year later.
