Philips JackRabbit 4 available in the market early 2004


The successful JackRabbit series from Philips continues with the fourth version of the drive. The upcoming JackRabbit 4 adds DVD+RW/+R capabilities to the external portable drive, keeping up the dual functionality as a PC DVD burner and a stand-alone DVD player connected to your TV set. Availability is expected by the end of 2003 - early 2004, at a retail price of 299 Euros.

The JR4 offers easy set-up and use in minutes on any laptop or PC, is able to burn video, audio, and images onto DVD or CD and also plays DVDs directly on your TV connected through S-Video or composite cable. In addition, the drive is able to play audio and MP3 CD's.
