FujiFilm releases new Blu-Ray media


Fuji Film announced the availability of the new BLRW23F A series of cartridged Blu-Ray media from the beginning of next month. The street price o fthe discs is expected to be 3,000 yen. The BLRW23F A discs offer a 23GB capacity in one layer, featuring the maximum transfer rate of 36Mbps (Blu-Ray format Ver.1.0).

FujiFilm used high precision stampers to maintain high quality for the required high density recording. Furthermore, the media use an ultra thin (0.1mm) transparent protection layer obtain stable writing and reading conditions.
