Sony to cut Japan PS2 price to Y19,800 on Nov 13


Japanese electronics and entertainment company Sony Corp said on Tuesday it plans to cut the domestic price of its PlayStation 2 (PS2) game console by 26 percent from November 13.

The company's game unit, Sony Computer Entertainment, will cut the suggested retail price for the PS2 in Japan to 19,800 yen ($178) from 25,000 yen.
