BenQ raises the curtain on the digital theatre


BenQ is underlining its position as a leading, innovative manufacturer of digital lifestyle devices by unveiling a range of Home Theatre products at this year’s CeBIT (March 12-19, 2003). With its new Home Theatre Projector, Joybook – an innovative integrated multimedia device – LCD Monitors, and Digital Cameras, BenQ once again confirms its aim to offer customers products that really bring enjoyment to their daily lives.

Joybook 8000: a remarkably compact multimedia device. Using integrated internal software, the Joybook allows users to handle a wide range of tasks, including connecting personal digital equipment, editing videos, sharing files, and storing valuable data. The Joybook brings all the BenQ experience in integrated networking into a highly attractive digital lifestyle concept. It sports an ultra-bright 15.2” LCD panel, NVIDIA graphics chip, and high performance sound equalizer. It produces sharp colours and high quality sound to enhance both video and audio enjoyment.

Storage: BenQ’s new DVD+RW 4212DW drive takes you into new territory in the multimedia world, offering a new level of quality and flexibility in copying DVD’s. It provides 4X DVD recording and 2.4 X DVD rewriting, combining the CDRW (16X W / 10X RW / 40X R) and DVD (12X) playback function, and a good compatibility to PC/AV devices. With advanced Seamless Link technologies, a safe burning environment can be ensured.
