CyberDrive announces DM168D 16x/48x DVD-ROM drive


As CyberDrive comments "...With its 16x reading speed for DVD´s and 48x for CD´s, the DM168D is the perfect device for all current movies, multi-media appliances and games. The drive reads dirty or scratched DVD´s and CD´s unimpressed because of its excellent error correction..."

And continues "...The flash memory makes updating the firmware via software very easy. The drive can be kept up-to-date easily by downloading new firmware versions from the support section on www.cyberdrive.de.

Beside the formats DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R and DVD+RW, the drive supports all common formats like DVD-ROM, DVD-Video, CD-DA, CD-ROM, CD-ROM/XA, Video-CD, CD-Extra, i-trax CD, CD-Plus, CD-Text, Boot-CD and CD-R and CD-RW. The internal IDE/ATAPI drive is equipped with a 512 KB cache buffer..."
