With the extensive range of accompanying software, you can also professionally edit photo and music files, in addition to video files. When writing and rewriting to both CDs and DVDs, the in-built Buffer Underrun Prevention Technology ensures reliable recording at all times.

Freecom supplies the Portable II DVD+RW/+R together with an extensive software package: apart from the latest burning software Easy CD Creator 5 for DVD and CD and Roxio Toast for Mac OS, the kit also includes the DVD software PowerDVD from Cyberlink and a full-fledged version of the video editor Ulead Video Studio 5*.
