Plextor expands product range by adding CD-R Media (discs)

Plextor Europa, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of CD-ROM and CD-ReWriteable drives, is proud to present a new product range: CD-R media. These days, no modern PC would be complete without a CD-Recorder. They can be used for storing photos, music and data fast, securely and cheaply. The latest generation of high-speed CD-Recorders imposes exacting demands on the CD-R media used. That is why it is of essential importance to choose the right media!

Thanks to its years of experience with CD-Recorders, Plextor can offer a range of CD-R media to meet the highest quality requirements:

· excellent write quality;
· superior reliability and precision;
· suitable for all CD formats (data and audio);
· coating of the CD surface to protect against scratches.

Plextor CD-R media are not just suitable for our own CD-Recorders, but can also be used in devices made by other manufacturers.

Plextor CD-R media will be available in two types of packaging:
· 50 pcs. (on spindle)
· 10 pcs.

The CD-Rs have a storage capacity of 80 minutes (700 MB), can handle write speeds of up to 48x and will be available from mid-November 2002 on the market.
