Matsushita finds defects in new DVD recorder!

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co has found defects in a new DVD recorder put on the market Aug 1 but failed to immediately make an announcement to the media, Matsushita officials said Tuesday. Defects in the starting program of the DMR-HS2 recorder could cause it to suddenly halt and fail to restart if a user deletes part of a program recorded on the hard disk (HD) drive built-in model and tries to edit a nearby portion, they said.
