VOB Computersysteme GmbH, a major worldwide developer of software products for CD and DVD recording, has announced a new release of InstantCD/DVD that includes enhanced features for writing video, audio and data to CDs and DVDs. InstantCD/DVD is a software application for the Windows environment that provides a complete solution for capturing, organizing and recording all kind of data to CDs/DVDs.

The highlight of InstantCD/DVD 6.5 is the integration of DVD authoring that allows the user to record his videos to DVD. The created DVDs can be played back on every DVD player. InstantVideo, a program part of InstantCD/DVD, contains a proprietary MPEG2 encoder and also supports the creation of VideoCDs, Super VideoCDs and Photo VCDs. Additionally InstantVideo includes an extensive set of editing tools for digital photos and other digital images.
