Ricoh Japan announced today a new CD-RW drive with the codename MP7400A. The drive supports 40X writing, 10X re-writing, 40X reading, 2MB buffer, JustLink and JustSpeed technologies. The drive will hit the Japanese market at 26th of July!
The drive reaches 40X writing speed with the use of Zone-CLV technology: 16X (lead-in), 20X, 24X, 32X, 40X.
