Warner Home Video signs contract to use Macrovision's analog copy protection on selected DVDs


Macrovision Corporation announced that Warner Home Video has signed a contract to utilize Macrovision’s copy protection technology on selected DVD titles. “Warner Home Video is widely recognized and respected for its role in the success of the DVD format. Historically, it has been a strong proponent of digital copy protection and is continuing its commitment to protect its titles from analog copying. Warner is sending a clear message that it values copy protection and is using Macrovision’s analog technology to help protect its titles,” said Bill Krepick, President and CEO of Macrovision.
