Recordable DVD press conference @ PCExpo


PC Expo Press Conference/Reception focusing on shipping DVD Multi products that read/write DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW & play on consumer and computer products to be shown at Jacob Javits Center - NYC Room 1D03/04 on June 25, 2002 4:00 p.m.

The nearly 90-member Recordable DVD Council (RDVDC) will demonstrate DVD Forum standard Recordable DVD -- DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW -- hardware, media and software. Briefing will include:

* Jon Peddie discussion of state of the market and projections of converging CE/PC products
* Demonstrations of shipping DVD Multi audio, video, computer-based hardware, software applications
* Statements from the industry's largest drive, media producers on products that comply with DVD Forum standards
