Verbatim are now shipping 40x CD-Recordable media which can burn a full 700MB in 3 minutes (actual time varies on drive and PC configuration). This media is designed for high speed recording applications and is approved for use in 40x CD-RW drives as well as maintaining full compatibility with previous generations of CD writers. The media is qualified by Plextor, LiteOn, TEAC, Benq and other leading drive manufacturers.

Verbatim’s 40x media incorporates Super Azo* recording dye which is resistant to ultra violet light and provides stability and durability for longer data life.
