WAITEC announces Storm40

Waitec still wants to provide with first quality high speed drives, is proud to introduce the new 40x called Storm 40. The Strom 40, will increase the existing CD-RW range, combining reliability and velocity with a 40x writing speed, 12x re-writing and 48x read out CD speed. Thanks to its very fast and safe Digital Audio Extraction up to 48x, you can spare a lot of your time in creating your own audio compilation.

Storm 40 is of course featuring SafeLink technology that prevents buffer under run errors and makes perfect recordings. A comfortable 4Mb internal buffer supports this technology.

Storm 40 is featuring a new technology called Easy Write which arises from the Mount Rainier initiative from Microsoft. Easy Write is Simple, Fast and Robust.

Simple, you can instantly drag and drop files to a disc and back to the hard disk.

Fast, the drive handles formatting CD-RW in the background, 1MB storage takes 1second.

Robust, embodies a dramatically improved defect management system. This makes it far more robust towards dirt and scratches than current packet-writing applications.

Easy Write the technology which makes Storm 40 Easier to use, Faster and Safer.
