TEAC responds about "Mt. Rainier" support of CD-W524E


Many users have been asking when and if a newer firmware will support Mt. Rainier format for the CD-W524E. TEAC responded today as follows "...The new firmware which supports Mt. Rainier will be finished end of this month. The exact release date has not been fixed because we need to consider the availability of Mt. Rainier software which supports CD-W524E as well. When both are ready, the new firmware will be released together with the dedicated update program on our web page..."
