Philips ships new version of CD-R standard


As Philips posted at their homepage "...Release for distribution of version 1.2 dated April 2002 CD-R Part II Volume 2, Multi-Speed. This document defines discs with recording speeds up to 16x, 20x, 24x, 32x, 40x and 48x normal CD speed..."
