LG Electronics Inc. said it has established production facilities for DVD-R discs in Chungju, and will begin production starting in March.

The facilities take pride in an annual production capacity of 6 million DVD-R discs, which boasts seven times the memory capacity of CD-R discs and can be used in DVD-ROMs and DVD players.
