T-Mobile to Offer Free Netflix Plan

T-Mobile US said on Wednesday it will offer a free subscription to video streaming service Netflix with its unlimited data family plans.

The offer is valid for customers of T-Mobile One plan who have two or more lines. A standard Netflix subscription, normally priced at $10 a month, will be available for free as part of an exclusive agreement that T-Mobile struck with Netflix. The plans are priced at $40 per line for a family of four.

Earlier this year, AT&T, which is buying Time Warner for $85.4 billion, started including HBO with its Unlimited Plus wireless plan.

T-Mobile already allows users to stream video from Netflix without using their data.
