Primera Technology today announced they are shipping the ComposerPro Optical Disc Duplicator that incorporates Pioneer’s new combination DVD-R/CD-R drive. This new drive offers DVD-R “General Purpose” (GP) recording capability as well as DVD-RW, CD-R, and CD-RW – all in a single drive. Primera Technology‘s integration of the DVR-A03 drive is the first in a commercially available disc publishing system that records and prints automatically.

Its precision robotics and advanced software completely automate the recording and disc surface printing of CD-Rs and DVD-Rs. Up to 100 discs per batch can be recorded and simultaneously printed with ComposerPro’s two drives. Optional 1200 dpi or 2400 dpi full-color printers from Primera Technology can easily be added to ComposerPro. Typical applications include the duplication of software, data, music, audio and video.
