AOpen announces CRW2440

AOpen today announced mass delivery of world's fastest CD-RW drive, CRW2440. This CD-RW provides unbelievable 24X CD-R writing speed, which burns an entire CD in just about 3 minutes. Like it's predecessors, the CRW2440 features both AOpen's CD-RW technologies "JustLink and JustSpeed". Thanks to the JustLink technology, users may enjoy real multi tasking and fast speed CD burning without fear of buffer-under-run.

Also thanks to unique JustSpeed, this smart CRW2440 will automatically decide the proper writing speed during the entire writing period. Other CD-RW drives without JustSpeed feature may have problem to match the fixed writing speed and CD-R media even with other buffer-under-run error prevention technologies. Nevertheless, the bonus pack of CRW2440 also comes with one 24X CD-R and one 10X CD-RW media as well as the state-of-art MP3 solution, the Gamut 2000 software, which converts unlimited CD tracks to MP3 files and vice versa.

James Hua, the Sr. Manager of Optical Storage and Multimedia Product Division of AOpen, said "AOpen is the first one in the world who may mass deliver the world fastest CD-RW drives." Continuously providing full product range and the latest technology, AOpen is ready to make a lot of noise in the CD-RW market.
