Philips drops EFM correction in new models...(?)

With the v3.0.9.1 CloneCD author supported many new Philips models. From the supported writers list we can see that the newest:

CDRW-1612A (Atapi)
CDRW-2010 (Atapi)
DVDRW-1208 (Atapi)
DVD+RW-D01 (Atapi)
CDRWDV 2010
RW12x8/DVD
RW16x8/DVD
RW12x10/DVD
RW16x10/DVD (Atapi)

drives are not supporting "Correct EFM encoding of regular bit patterns", which needed for making perfect SD2 backups. Is that a bad sign. Possible :(
