More SafeAudio stories...

Users keep trying for alternative solutions:

"...I did some tests with a CD that is protected by Safe Audio (Dutch group named Volumia and the name of the cd is PUUR). With the NEC7700 (12x burner) I get error while reading a track. With the Plextor 8/20 also poblems while reading it. With Ricoh 7040S (modified to 7060S with new firmware) also problems! But now it comes, the Traveller (from Freecom) it works without any problems! I have checked the Firmware release of the Traveller and test the cd with release 1.13, 1.15 and release 1.30 (support CD-Text). I can read all the tracks with CD-CREATOR 4.x or 5.x and even did a copy with the copier!

PS: I did a check on the cd, it has a illegal TOC (A dataTrack of 4 GB is also on the CD). If you put the CD in a MAC CD-ROM drive then it prompts to format the drive :-)..."
