I-O Data ships 20/10/40 USB 2.0 external recorder

I-O Data announced a new USB 2.0 CD-RW drive. The new model "CDRW-i20J/US2" supports 20x writing, 10x re-writing and 40x reading speeds. The connection interface is USB 2.0 and the drive is external. There is compatibility with USB 1.1 but with reduced features down to 8x/4x/6x. For now there isn't a USB 2.0 driver for Win9X OS and you will forced to use the drive only with Win2k. The drive is expected to ship in the Japanese market end of July for the price of 33000 Yen ($265).
