Ricoh Japan has posted today the news about MP9200A. We had posted the full specifications one week ago but here are the official info also. The new Ricoh drive supports 20x writing, 10x re-writing, 40x reading (CD) and 12x reading (DVD). It also comes with "JustSpeed" and "JustLink" technologies, 2MB of Buffer, UDMA-33 and Z-CLV writing technology as introduced in the MP7200A series. The drive will start selling in Japan at July 7th and the retail price is estimated at 35,000 Yen (USD 285$).
