Primera Technology introduces 8 new ribbon colors for "Inscripta"


"...Primera Technology unveiled eight new color ribbons for its popular Inscripta Thermal CD Printer. Ribbons are now available in solid black, orange, red, wine, shamrock green, forest green, royal blue, and brown. All eight colors are manufactured using a new ink formulation that prints on a wide variety of CD-R and DVD-R media, including virtually all screen- and spin-coated disks. The ink is also highly scratch- and smudge-resistant.

Inscripta ribbons have a minimum of 700 prints but can last as long as 1200 to 1500 prints depending upon coverage. Ribbons cost $39.00 (MSRP) each. Primera also offers two-color ribbons, which have 350 prints at a cost of $59.00 (MSRP) each.

The Inscripta CD Color Printer is ideal for businesses of all types who duplicate their own CD-Rs or DVD-Rs and need an fast and cost-efficient method of professionally labeling the discs. Inscripta prints high-resolution text, graphics, and logos in any combination using the new eight solid colors or two-color ink ribbons.
