Fantom ships 16x FireWire CD-RW


"...Fantom Drives today announced the release of a new FireWire-based 16x10x40 CD-RW drive. The new device sports a drive mechanism manufactured by TEAC. It's compatible with both Macs and PCs equipped with FireWire interfaces. The new drive carries a suggested retail price of US$349 and is available from Fantom Drives retailers and e-tailers worldwide. The drive ships with an IEEE-1394 cable, black CD Media, Adaptec/Roxio Toast OEM version for Mac, and Easy CD Creator for PC..."
