Two stories from Philips today:
- The Comprehensive CD Disc Patent License Agreement, Video CD Disc Patent License Agreement, and the CD-R Disc Patent License Agreement issued to ACME Production Industries and its Associated Companies, including Hong Kong Production Industries and China Production Industries, have been terminated due to non-compliance by ACME. Accordingly, all CD, Video-CD and CD-R discs manufactured and/or sold by ACME Production Industries are henceforth unlicensed products
- The CD-R Disc License Agreement issued to Ritek Corporation has been terminated due to non-compliance by Ritek Corporation. All CD-R discs manufactured and/or sold by Ritek Corporation are henceforth unlicensed products.
