NEC announces new 4X DVD+/+RW recorder


NEC German announced a new DVD recorder (ND-1090A) that supports 4X DVD+R (writing), 2X DVD+RW (writing, 16X writing (CD-R), 10X re-writing (HS-RW), 40X reading (CD) and 12X reading (DVD). At 4X a full 4.7GB disc can be written at 15mins. The new drive expected to cost around €329 and ships early November. Its older brother (ND-1100A) will support also 4X DVD-R/2X DVD-RW, expected to cost higher (€349) and ships early December...
