TDK announced "GCD1210FU" CDR-W drive


TDK Japan announced today a new CDR-W drive -"GCD1210FU"- which supports both IEEE-1394 & USB interfaces! It will start sold from December 19 and the street price would be around 43,000Yen(380$).

Features: With IEEE-1394 connection: 12x write, 10x re-write, 32x reading
With USB connection: 6x write, 6x re-write, 6x reading
2MB Buffer
Support BURN-Proof.
Access time 150 ms

The bulked CDR software is BHA's "Bs Recorder GOLD"(Win/Mac) and "B`s Clip(only Windows)" -both Japanese. The "GCD1210FU" possible based upon Plextor PX-W1210A.
