CyberLink Adds 360-Degree Video Playback Support to PowerDVD


CyberLink is updating its flagship media playback program, PowerDVD, that enables users to watch 360 degree video.

A growing number of 360 videos are created using specialized cameras capable of simultaneously recording all 360-degrees of a scene. When playing a 360 video using PowerDVD, users can pan and rotate the perspective to watch content from different angles.

Owners of PowerDVD 16 Ultra can download and install a free update providing 360-degree video support. Subscription, perpetual licenses and upgrades are available at the following prices:

  • PowerDVD Live: US$44.99/12 month or US$14.99/3 month subscription
  • PowerDVD 16 Ultra: US$99.95
  • PowerDVD 16 Pro: US$79.95
  • PowerDVD 16 Standard: US$59.95
  • Upgrades start from US$44.95
