Rimage ships Cedar Desktop Publisher 8000


"...Rimage has released the Cedar Desktop Publisher 8000 (DPT 8000); a plug and play complete duplication system that fits on a desktop and supports high-volume unattended CD-R duplication. An alternative to CD-ROM replication, this system enables service bureaus and office environments to record and print large quantities of CDs without the capital expense and lead times usually associated with CD-ROM production.

The Cedar Desktop Publisher 8000 features eight 12x CD-R recorders, two 1200dpi inkjet printers, and a spindle capacity of 330 CDs. The full software support includes the Prassi Primo CD Pro Software for Windows 95/98 and NT, allowing you to set up multiple jobs or run concurrent jobs, unattended. The two ink jet printers keep pace with the eight recorders, providing high quality, professional graphics. The system is available immediately through the Rimage distribution channel and will retail around $27,000..."
