Facebook Messenger Makes It Easier to Start Conversations

Facebook is updating its Messenger app to offer o make it simpler to use by presenting more relevant information.

The updated s Messenger app features a new homepage that will act more or less like an inbox. Now, you’ll see your conversations and ways to connect right where you need them most. You’ll still see the first few most recent messages at the top of your screen, followed by a new Favorites section, which highlights people you message most frequently, so you can quickly pick up your last conversation.

Messenger will also show you other things happening. For example, with the Active Now section, you can see that a friend or colleague is available in the moment.

Facebook is also adding reminders like people’s birthdays.
