Philips ships eXpanium portable Mp3 CD Player

"...eXpanium is our first CD portable that merges the convenient CD format with MP3 technology. By adding MP3-CD playback function it can play regular, recordable and rewritable CDs containing either MP3 music or normal non-compressed music. ‘Format shift’ your whole CD collection on to just a few recordable or rewritable CDs and enjoy 10 SOLID HOURS of uninterrupted, non-skip digital music on each CD. You choose what to listen to, what order to hear it in, and what format to use… it’s mind-expanding!.."
