Rimage Producer Prostar Advances the Art of CD-R Publishing

"...Rimage will showcase today, at Replitech, the newest and most advanced product in its line of CD-R/DVD-R automated publishing systems. Boasting industry-leading throughput and massive volume capability, the system is available this Fall through Rimage's distribution channels.

The Prostar uses a patented architecture to support up to eight unique data streams for simultaneous imaging, network downloading and recording. The system includes Rimage's Prism printer, a full-color thermal transfer printer that is the fastest and most cost-effective in the industry. The Prostar also uses a dedicated processor to provide direct network connections from the kiosk, useful in today's flourishing "CD-R on-demand" market. Users can prioritize job production and provide secure access to the system by authorized persons for up to 30 individual CDs..."
