Teac CDR-W supported from CloneCD? (2)

We posted yesterday news about the possibility that with new firmware CloneCD supports Teac CDR-W drives. Here is some emails we got for this subject:

"...After reading the post at your page I tried and flashed my Teac58s with firmware 1.0p. Then I started CloneCD 2.3.1.1 and the info for my recorder read like this:
Can write CD-R Discs: Yes
Can write CD-RW Discs: No
Compatible with CloneCD (Write Simulation): No
Compatible with CloneCD (Real Write): Yes
Supports writing of CD+G: Yes

But when it comes to really writing an image the following errors pop up:
Writing to CD failed, ILLEGAL REQUEST: LOGICAL BLOCK ADDRESS OUT OF RANGE (5:0x21:0x00) CDWriter is not compatible with CloneCD! So at first it looks like it will work but then it's the same as it was before. :-(.."

"...Right now I am testing a Teac CD-W54E CD-RW drive, and I can confirm, the CloneCD 2.3.1.1 supports it!!! I have not burned any disc with CloneCD & this writer, but I will do a detailed test and I will share you my experiences!

Here is the info from CloneCD:

------------------------------

Info on CDWriter:
Manufacturer: TEAC
Product: CD-W54E
Revision: 1.1B

Device Capabilities:
Note: This information is provided by the unit, it might be inaccurate.
CloneCD does not use this information!
Can write CD-R Discs: Yes
Can write CD-RW Discs: Yes
Compatible with CloneCD (Write Simulation): Yes
Compatible with CloneCD (Real Write): Yes
Supports writing of CD+G: Yes.."
