Teac CDR-W drives supported from CloneCD?

The following info came in our email box. We don't have a Teac CDR-W drive in order to test if it is true:

"..Teac released new firmware for TEAC CDR-56S 450, Teac CDR-56S, Teac CDR-58S. The firmware version is v1.0p. If you upgrade to this version, you will find CloneCD can support it.

Requirement:
CloneCD v2.3.11 (or later)
A Teac CD Recorder with v1.0P Firmware

As for Teac W54E also can be used with CloneCD but firmware must be v1.1B (or later).."
