Iomega Ships New ZipCD 8432 CD-RW Drive


"...Iomega today announced shipment of an internal 8x4x32x ZipCD ATAPI CD-RW drive. The new drive is compatible with Windows 95/98/2000 and NT 4.0.

Iomega's new internal 8x4x32x ZipCD ATAPI drive offers higher transfer rates than Iomega's previous internal 4x4x24x ZipCD drive and ships with Adaptec Easy CD Creator and Adaptec DirectCD software. The drive also fits inside a desktop computer's 5.25" drive bay, which saves a user valuable desk space.

The internal 8x4x32x ZipCD(TM) ATAPI drive is available at an estimated street price of $229.95 (U.S.), and is available directly from Iomega at http://www.iomegadirect.com or through major distributors and resellers..."
