FireBurner's Author IgD Claims CloneCD is a "Hoax"!!!

In a recent editorial the author of the well-known recording application FireBurner argues that most of what CloneCD's authors claim concerning the 1:1 reproduction of copy-protected CDs by using their program seem to be just a "hoax". IgD "proves" this by presenting an example where the read and recorded copy-protected sectors of a test disk are different, and he goes on to show that CloneCD does not apply any magic, other than forcing some particular recorders to write "erroneous" sectors.

Nonetheless the fact remains: by applying a simple "alchemy" that most CD recording application authors overlooked in the past, CloneCD is able to duplicate most copy-protected disks:) Let's hope that now IgD will get back to work and offer his program the capability to record PSX disks…
