Pioneer Offers End-User Savings to DVD-R Customers


"..Pioneer New Media Technologies, Tuesday announced aggressive end-user promotions to purchasers of its 4.7GB DVD-Recordable drive and media. Customers in the United States and Canada who purchase Pioneer's award-winning DVD-Recordable drive (DVR-S201) between Feb. 1-April 1 will receive 10 pieces of Pioneer DVD-R media (3.95GB or 4.7GB) free, valued at a total savings of $375. During the same time, for every 10 pieces of Pioneer's DVD-R media purchased, customers will receive an additional disc free, a $40 value. Customers automatically receive three pieces of free DVD-R media and pre-mastering software with their original purchase of a DVD-R drive. The new promotion extends that offer to an additional 10 pieces for a total value of more than $500. For further details, customers can visit the Pioneer Web Site.."
