French brand ARCHOS announced new additions to the ARCHOS smartphone line: the ARCHOS Diamond S. the Windows 10-based ARCHOS 50 Cesium and the ARCHOS 50e Helium, which runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The ARCHOS Diamond S has a 5" Super AMOLED Gorilla Glass 3 screen that puts the
smartphone in the premier leagues of screen quality. The phone slides easily into a pocket and nestles in the palm of a hand with its 118 grams. It also features an Octa-Core processor (Mediateck MT6753 ), 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of storage.
The smartphone comes installed with Android 5.1 Lollipop, Android’s newest operating system. Battery management, push notification display, and user interface are all improved in this new OS.
It also has fast charging capability to be fully ready as soon as possible.
The ARCHOS Diamond S offers dual cameras - the back camera captures scenes at 16MP and the front-camera takes 8MP pictures. As is customary for the ARCHOS Diamond line, the ARCHOS Diamond S will offer 4G/LTE connectivity.
The ARCHOS Diamond S will be presented at IFA in Berlin, beginning September 4, 2015. It will be available in November 2015 for £159.99
The French brand also announced two 5" smartphones priced at £99. The ARCHOS 50 Cesium runs Windows 10 right out of the box, and the ARCHOS 50e Helium runs Android 5.1 Lollipop
They both feature 5" HD IPS screens, Qualcomm Quad-Core processors clocked at 1.1
GHz and 4G/LTE connectivity.
The ARCHOS 50 Cesium and ARCHOS 50e Helium will be available in November 2015
