Google has officially expanded Android One to Turkey, as the company's program debuts in Europe.
Launched last fall, Android One has been already released in six countries (India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and the Philippines). For the release in Turkey, Googlele is partnering with General Mobile.
The General Mobile 4G offers fast performance, thanks to a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and runs Lollipop, the latest and fastest version of Android. It is equipped with a 5.0" HD IPS screen, 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera. Gorilla Glass 4 makes the screen durable and scratch resistant. And the General Mobile 4G is also the first Android One device with 4G connectivity.
The first phones under Google's Android One project were priced at $105 to capture the low-cost segmentThe. However, the General Mobile 4G retails for around $260.
