Toshiba Shows CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive for First Time At Comdex' 99


"..Toshiba will be demonstrating its combination CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive for the first time publicly during Comdex '99.

Toshiba continues to exceed customer expectations with innovative drives such as the new SD-R1002 combination drive -- the world's first drive that reads both CD-RW and DVD-ROM media. The drive features a fast writing speed of 4X for CD-R and CD-RW, and employs a full 24X speed maximum playback for CD-ROM and 4X for DVD-ROM.."
