SoundStream Now Available for Purchase

"..We are pleased to announce that SoundStream v1.0 is now available for purchase.
SoundStream is designed for music enthusiasts who want to make "Greatest Hits" CDs of their favorite songs, and not be concerned with the technical details of recording CDs. SoundStream has an intuitive interface that makes it easy to take MP3s or tracks off existing CDs and combine them on a CD you can play anywhere, in any standard CD player.
With SoundStream, the entire CD doesn't have to be recorded at once. Songs can be added one at a time until the CD is full, or an entire CD can be copied just as easily. SoundStream offers direct MP3-to-CD audio burning capabilities, so CDs can be recorded in the shortest amount of time. Users will also have access to CDDB's unique Disc Recognition Service, where artist, album and song title information are automatically available for use, eliminating the need for users to manually type in titles.
Other features include special effects to enhance the quality of MP3s or other audio sources, the ability to create custom CD labels and jewel case liner notes, and Web-CheckUp, Adaptec's automatic update utility that automatically installs the latest program updates - for free. For more details on the features of SoundStream, please see http://www.adaptec.com/products/overview/soundstream.htm
SoundStream is currently available in English in the US and Canada only, at a suggested retail price of $49 (USD), with a $10 mail-in-rebate for registered users of Adaptec CD-R software or a competitive product. This mail-in rebate is available only to residents of the U.S. and Canada.."
