Asustek Computer Inc. will announce its voice-enabled smartwatch on Sept. 3 in Germany ahead of the IFA electronics trade show.
The Android Wear ZenWatch will come with a voice recognition feature and will be available for US$199, Asus said. The device will initially support English voice recognition when it goes on sale in October. Chinese language support is expected to be released by the end of this year.
The ZenWatch will operate as a stand alone device or paired with Android phones, including Asustek's low-cost ZenFone models.
